  • CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) Hypnotherapy is an evidence-based, clinical practice used to treat a range of conditions. The CBT element works by changing negative, unhelpful ways of thinking in to more positive, helpful thoughts. Hypnotherapy is then used to cement these new positive thoughts and beliefs in your mind.

  • No - if used in the right way by a qualified therapist. Hypnotherapy involves putting you in to a state of mind, which can be similar to when you day-dream (often very relaxed but can differ depending on what we are trying to achieve) and making your mind more ‘suggestible’ to positive, helpful thoughts. You will only accept suggestions, you want to accept so you can’t be made to do anything against your will.

  • Throughout the 6 week program you will have an initial assessment consultation with Claire, where she will create your bespoke plan involving a combination self-paced workshops, exercises to complete, a mid-way check in with Claire and then a final review session. Claire will provide weekly feedback on your progress and be available throughout the course for any questions via email. You will also have access to group drop-in biweekly guided relaxation sessions.
